Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for services and payments provided by Wild Kahuna ("Wild Kahuna," "we," "us," or "our") through https://wildkahuna.com (the "Site"). It works together with our Terms of Service; where this policy and an individual quote, proposal, statement of work, or order you approve (an "Order") conflict, the Order controls for that engagement.

If you have a billing question or want to request a refund, reach us through our contact page before disputing a charge so we can resolve it directly.

1. Deposits and project work

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Deposits reserve your project, schedule, and time; once we have started work they are not refundable except as required by law or as stated in your Order.
  • Standard payment schedules. As described in our Terms, project fees are billed on a schedule we select based on project size and state in the Order — typically a 50% deposit with 50% due before handover for smaller engagements, or 40% up front, 40% after review and sign-off, and 20% before handover for larger engagements.
  • Fees for completed work are non-refundable. Amounts billed for work already performed, milestones already delivered, or third-party costs already incurred on your behalf are not refundable.
  • Before work begins. If you cancel after paying but before we have started work, we will refund the amount paid, less any non-refundable third-party costs and any time already spent on intake, scoping, or scheduling.

2. Recurring and subscription services

  • Recurring fees (such as hosting, maintenance, or subscription plans) pay for a service period in advance and are non-refundable for the current period.
  • You may cancel a recurring service with reasonable advance notice as described in your Order. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the period already in progress.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law or stated in your Order.

3. Appointments and bookings

  • Appointment requests are not confirmed until we confirm them, and any required booking payment is handled as described at the time of booking.
  • Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. No-show or late-cancellation fees, if any, are described at booking and are non-refundable.

4. How refunds are issued

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • We typically issue an approved refund within 1–2 business days. After we issue it, Stripe and your bank or card issuer process the funds, which usually takes another 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • We issue refunds in the original currency of the payment.

5. Errors and duplicate charges

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged an incorrect amount, contact us and we will investigate and correct verified billing errors, including issuing a refund where appropriate.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us first so we can resolve billing concerns directly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may pause active Services until the matter is resolved.

7. Required by law

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
